Job Summary
We are looking for a Lube Technician to join our successful Oil Change service center.
Duties and responsibilities:
· Responsible for keeping service tools and equipment cleaned and arranged.
· Assist customers with questions.
· Inform the Service writer of any unusual condition on the customer's vehicle.
· Maintain cleanliness in the work area and restock supplies.
· Change oils and filters, check the tire pressure, and add fluids when needed.
· Rotate tires and check all the vital fluids on the customer's vehicle upon arrival for service.
· Review electronic service manuals to assist customers with maintenance questions.
· Create relationships of trust with customers by engaging and following up
· Greeting customers once they arrive
· Proper handling and movement of their vehicle.
· Constant communication throughout the bay with other Technicians.
· Making the customers feel comfortable and satisfied with their services and environment.
· Perform other preventative maintenance services.
· Consult with customers on issues found and help determine the best course of action.
· Maintain a 100% hazard-free work environment.
· Work as a team to provide quick and quality automotive services.
· Ensure customer satisfaction by providing a clean and organized lobby.
· Convey necessary vehicle repair information to customers in a clear and concise manner
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Strong customer service and communications skills are required
- Good Attitude
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
